Scranton Man Charged With Felony Drug Possession In Carroll County District Court Pleads Not Guilty

A Scranton man charged with felony drug possession in Carroll County District Court has been scheduled for trial this fall. According to court records, 51-year-old David Allan Holley pled not guilty earlier this month to two counts of third-offense possession of a controlled substance, class D felonies. The charges stem from a traffic stop by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 20 near the intersection of Highway 30 and Noble Avenue. Holley’s jury trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Oct. 20 with a pretrial conference slated for Thursday, Sept. 24. Each class D felony carries a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and $7,500 in fines.
