Buildup work continues on 280th Street, northeast of Exira in Audubon County, with one section completed and another started yesterday (Tuesday). The Audubon County Road Department says they have completed the project between Swift and Bowman Avenues and although some minor finishing work is being done, the road is open to through traffic. Effective at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, they closed the next segment, between Pheasant and Quail Avenues, until further notice. Work is anticipated to be completed by Tuesday, Aug. 25. The road will be closed to through traffic and access to residences will only be available from the west. Anyone with questions is encouraged to call the road department at 712-563-4286.
