Lt. Gov. Greg Chosen To Chair Midwest Region On NLGA Executive Committee

Iowa Lt. Gov., Adam Gregg, has been selected to again chair the Midwest Region on the National Lieutenant Governors Association’s (NLGA) Executive Committee. The NLGA consists of four regions: East, West, South and Midwest. Gregg has served on the executive committee since July of 2018 and took over as chair of the Midwest region in July of 2019. Gregg says, “I am honored to again serve as Midwest Chair and represent our state on the Executive Committee of the National Lieutenant Governors Association. Multi-state dialogue and cooperation is more important now than it ever has been. In this role, I will continue to ensure Iowans’ voices are heard, while also sharing best practices and learning from my colleagues from across the country.” Gregg will meet three times per year with the NLGA executive committee to identify issues of concern for the nation’s lieutenant governors. Iowa’s current governor, Kim Reynolds, served on the NLGA executive committee from July 2015 to July 2016.
