As the City of Carroll continues to work toward a Sept. 8 vote on a $13.38 million renovation and expansion to the Recreation Center, more opportunities for community engagement have been planned. There will be a second Coffee with the Mayor, currently scheduled for Saturday morning, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m. at the Carroll Rec Center. Mayor, Dr. Eric Jensen, as well as other members of the city staff, will be on hand to discuss the proposed project, the funding streams through a combination of General Obligation (GO) bonds and Local Option Sales Tax (L.O.S.T.) bonds, share schematic drawings, and answer any questions Carroll residents may have.
