As buildup work continues on 280th Street northeast of Exira, it moves a little further to the east, closing another section of roadway. Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 280th from Swift to Bowman Avenues will be closed for the construction project. Drivers are encouraged to plan an alternate route in advance. The road will remain closed until further notice, with the project not anticipated to take any longer than end of the day on Thursday, Aug. 27.
