Makayla Miller nearly gave the Raiders the lead in the top of the 7th as she took a ball deep but it was caught at the fence with the tying run on 2nd base. East Sac had rallied with runs earlier in the inning and trailed by just 1. The Raiders led early but just couldn’t hold on as the Warriors scored 4 runs in the 5th to go ahead 7-3. Raiders led early 3-1. The loss drops them to 6-7.

Maci Gustavson doubled and drove in 3 runs in the loss. Laryn Sharp and Mariah Friedrichsen each went 2-3 with a run scored. Maty Quirk scored a pair of runs and stole 3 bases.

The Raiders will host OA-BCIG on Thursday for their Pink Out night on KIKD 106.7.

Carroll picked up three hits in falling to 5-9 on the season. Winterset scored a pair of runs in the 2nd and 6th and added 4 in the 3rd and 3 in the 5th.

Chloe Gallegos, Ashley Onken and Brielle Hinners each had hits in the loss.

Carroll will play at Kuemper on Friday on KIKD 106.7.

Audubon At CAM Anita

CAM Anita rallied late and then held off the Audubon Wheelers dropping Audubon to 9-7 on the season. The Wheelers scored a pair of runs on a ground out by Jordan Porsch in the 2nd inning. They added a run in the 4th to lead 3-2 entering the bottom half when CAM Anita tied the game at 3. CAM Anita gained control of the game with a 3-run 5th and then held on as the Wheelers scored twice in the 7th.

Audubon collected 4 hits with Katelyn Nielsen leading the way with a pair. Kali Irlmeier and Jordan Porsch picked up the other hits. Alexis Obermeier took the loss in the circle allowing 1 run in 2 inning of work.

The Wheelers will host Earlham on Thursday.

IKM-Manning wrapped up the regular season with a loss as former Wolves star Andi Nulle brought her undefeated Spartans to Irwin. The loss drops the Wolves to 3-10 on the season. They will host AHSTW on Monday in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Emily Kerkhoff picked up 2 of the teams 4 hits.  Joanna Freese and Miranda Benton had the other hits. Kerkhoff. Benton and Jessica Christensen scored the runs for the Wolves.

The Titans played well but gave up a 4-run 4th inning and weren’t able to recover as West Bend Mallard added a run in the 5th and went on to win by a pair of runs. The Titans took an early 2-0 lead scoring a pair of runs in the 1st inning. The Titans added a run in the 4th to trail 4-3.

South Central Calhoun finished with 8 hits with Sally Musselman and Madison Schultz each having a pair. Brielle Korleski, Keira Hammen, Emma Geno and Hallee Maulsby all had a hit. Hammen had a double and an RBI. Schultz and Geno each added an RBI.

The loss drops South Central Calhoun to 3-10 as they wrap up the regular season at home on Thursday against Manson NW Webster.
