Audubon was able to turn 6 hits into 10 runs on Tuesday as they move to 9-5 on the season while the Titans fall to 0-9. The Wheelers scored 3 runs in 1st, 3rd and 5th innings.
Skyler Schultes held the Titans to 2 hits while striking out 8. He added a 2-3 night at the plate with 2 RBI and a run scored. Gavin Smith drove in two runs and scored twice. Braden Wessel also added a pair of RBI and a run scored.
Truman Boyd Harris and Jayden Soard picked up hits for South Central Calhoun in the loss.
Audubon will travel to CAM Anita on Wednesday. South Central Calhoun will play Saturday at SE Valley in the 1st round of the Class 2A playoffs.

The Wolves scored 3 insurance runs in the 6th inning and picked up their 3rd win of the season in their first game since being quarantined. The win moves to the Wolves to 3-4 on the season.
Max Nielsen and Conner Richards combined to allow 9 hits and just 1 earned run. Richards picked up the win in relief. Nolan Ramsey led the offense attack with 3 hits including a double and 2 RBI. Amos Rasmussen, Hayden McLaughlin and Luke Ramsey each had a pair of hits. Luke Ramsey added a double with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Rasmussen tripled and scored.
The Wolves will look to improve to 4-4 when they head to Lawton Bronson on Thursday.

Kuemper exploded for 8 runs over the last two innings to pick up their 11th win of the season. The win moves Kuemper to 11-7 as they head into a matchup with Carroll High on Wednesday on 1380 AM/95.1 FM KCIM.
Kyle Berg got a 2-out rally started in the 6th when he reached on an error. Blake Pottebaum kept it going with an RBI double. Austin Tigges singled and Will Schenkelberg walked before Cal Wanninger doubled driving in 3 runs. The 4-run 6th inning put Kuemper up 8-4 until the Rams added 4 in the bottom half. The Knights took the lead for good in the 7th when Logan Sibenaller, Carter Putney and Truman Haukap walked to start the inning. Pottebaum then doubled driving in 2 runs. Austin Tigges added an RBI and Kuemper led 12-8 heading to the bottom of the 7th.
The team picked up 10 hits with Pottebaum, Tigges and Will Shenkelberg with 2 each. Pottebaum and Wanninger had 3 RBI. Kyle Feauto added 2 RBI. Austin Tigges went 5 solid innings giving up 5 hits and 4 runs. Cal Wanninger pitched the 6th and Kyle Berg got the win pitching the 7th.

Crusaders left an early lead slip away as they fall to 11-4 on the season. Coon Rapids Bayard scored the first 4-runs of the game before Webster City cut it to 4-3 with a 3-run 3rd. The Lynx took their first lead in the 5th and then added a run in the bottom of the 6th after the Crusaders tied in the top half. Coon Rapids Bayard had a chance in the 7th with the bases loaded and 1 out but weren’t able to get the clutch hit.
Quentin Culbertson and Preston McAlister pitched well combining to allow 8 hits and 5 earned runs over 6 innings. They struck out 7 but walked 7 as well. Aaron McAlister remained hot at the plate going 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI. Gabe Obert scored twice. The Crusaders had 7 hits as a team.

The Carroll Tigers suffer another tight loss on Tuesday as Atlantic hits a game tying home run in the 7th and then wins it with a run in the 8th. Nick Haberl was brilliant on the mound for Carroll though he took the loss giving up a walk off double with 1 out in the 8th.
Jack Troutman drove in the lone Tiger run in the 2nd inning with a fielder’s choice. Carroll was held to 4 hits but left 10 guys on base. Colby Christensen, Tory Feldman, Treyton Goins and Ryan Johnston all singled for the Tigers.
The loss drops Carroll to 5-9 overall and 3-3 in the Raccoon River Conference. Carroll will host Kuemper on Wednesday on 1380 AM/95.1 FM KCIM.
