Coon Rapids Bayard scored 6-runs in the 1st but had to hold on at the end to pick up their 3rd win of the season. The Wildcats rallied from down 8-3 after the 2nd inning to tie the game at 8 going into the 6th. The Crusaders offense came back alive as they scored 4 more runs in the 6th and then held on as the Wildcats stormed back with 3 more in the 3rd. The win improves the Crusaders to 3-12 while the loss drops Glidden Ralston to 4-6.

The Wildcats out hit the Crusaders 13-7 but Coon Rapids Bayard was walked 12 times and hit by a pitch 3 times to Glidden Ralston walking 6 times and getting hit by a pitch 3 times.

Alexa Culbertson led the Coon Rapids Bayard offense with 3 hits including a double and 2 RBI. Alaya Betts had a double and 3 RBI while Lexie Davis added 2 RBI. Cora McAlister scored 3 times. Lexie Davis picked up the win throwing 1 2/3 of scoreless ball.

Talia Schon and Kim Daily paced Glidden Ralston with 3 hits each. Schon had a pair of doubles with 3 RBI and 2-runs scored. Elizabeth Lloyd went 2-2 and Macy Snyder added a pair of RBI. Morgan Koehler suffered the loss allowing 6-runs on 7 hits in 4 2/3 innings.

Coon Rapids Bayard hosts IKM-Manning on Monday. Glidden Ralston travels to Grand View Christian.

East Sac came out with the bats swinging and picked up 17 hits including a home run from Bree Boeckman as they move to 5-6 on the season. The Titans dropped their 6th game out of their last 7 and sit at 3-7.

Maci Gustavson, Meredith Brown, Mary Bontrager and Bree Boeckman were four of the Raiders hitting stars. Gustavson had a double and went 4-4 with 3 RBI and scored twice. Boeckman nearly went deep her first time up and then hit a home run her second time at the plate. She finished 3-4 with an RBI. Bontrager added a 3-4 night with 3 RBI. Brown went 2-3 with a double, 4 RBI and scored 3 times.

Kierra Hammen had a solo home run for the Titans.

East Sac will host Manson NW Webster on Monday. The Titans will be home to GTRA on KIKD 106.7 on Monday.

An 11-run 5th inning by West Harrison dropped the Rockets to 1-9 on the season. The Hawkeyes scored their other run in the 2nd inning. The Rockets picked up just 1 hit by Jadeyn Smith. Smith also took the loss in the circle.

The Rockets host River Valley on Tuesday.
