United Way Of Carroll Announces 2020 Business Sponsors And Board Members

The United Way of Carroll has announced the 2020 members of their Board of Directors and their business sponsors. Each year, area businesses band together and cover the costs of the United Way Worldwide dues. According to Executive Director, Jennifer Munson, this allows all proceeds from fundraisers to stay right here in Carroll County. This year’s sponsors include Westside State Bank, American Home Shield, United Bank of Iowa and New Way Ford. “We are extremely grateful for the continued support for the United Way of Carroll by our local businesses,” Munson says. “This support is essential to our organization so that we are able to support more programs and agencies within our county.” Bill Beck, Operations Officer with Westside State Bank, says it was an easy decision to become a sponsor. “Employees from the bank have been involved with the United Way throughout the years, and they know that the United Way of Carroll supports local organizations that are in need of supplemental funding.” Along with sponsors, new board members are cycled in and serve a three-year term and can serve two terms in a row, ensuring there is always experience at the table. The 2020 officers are: Julie Perkins, President; Kyle Bauer, Vice-President; Bill Beck, Treasurer; and Mallory Ramaekers, Secretary. Other members include: Becky Boes, Karen Friedlein, Pete Haefs, Aubrey Kemerling, Abby Ketelson, Tim Lawler, Chad Lawson, Scott Mikkelson, Maggie Parrish, Lisa Rial, Denae Rosdail and Kenzie Wittrock.
