Three Youths Face Felony Charges In Juvenile Court For Property Damage And Thefts In Arcadia

Three young males are facing felony charges in the juvenile court system after being apprehended for property damage and theft. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports they were notified on Tuesday of approximately 12 separate car windows that had been broken out in Arcadia. The damage appeared to have been done with rocks and some owners reported items missing from their vehicles. On Wednesday, deputies spotted the three young males at approximately 1:32 a.m. in the act of trying to damage property. The deputies converged and after a short foot chase, the 10- and 12-year-old males were apprehended. The third, a 14-year-old male, was located by the Sheriff’s Office drone a short time later. Some of the reported stolen items were recovered. The juveniles were released to their parents or guardians. The incident remains under investigation.
