Des Moines Area Community College’s (DMACC) We Include speaker series returns to their Carroll campus Thursday with a community discussion on the legal and social challenges of racial justice and immigration. Community Engagement Associate for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Damonte Stogner, will lead the hour-long seminar, explore the obstacles faced by underrepresented groups and share ideas on how we can lessen those barriers. Stogner is scheduled to speak from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in room 142. A light lunch will be served during the event. Thursday’s seminar is free and the public is encouraged and invited to attend.
