The Jefferson Police Department is sending out a message of gratitude this Thanksgiving season after a generous donation from an area business. Prestige Automotive of Scranton recently purchased updated entry vests for each of the patrol vehicles in the department. The vests are used when officers respond to dangerous situations involving firearms.
