A very well-known local musical group will be putting on a special performance this week for the benefit of our four-legged friends. Karen Schouten is the secretary for Animal Rescue of Carroll and invites everyone to join them Wednesday at their Strings 4 Paws fundraiser.
There are no advance sales for the 7 p.m. performance at the Carroll Rec Center. Schouten says you just need to show up and give that free-will donation to get in. The evening includes an extensive listing of raffle items. Tickets are $10 each or three for $25 and available for sale at the shelter, located at 1721 E. 10th Street on the east edge of town, from any board member and they will be sold on Wednesday night. You need not be present to win one of the many different prizes.
Schouten says this is about the fourth year they have partnered with All Strings Attached for the fundraiser. Animal Rescue of Carroll’s new shelter has been open nearly three years now and offers adoption of rescued dogs and cats, not only to area residents, but to individuals and families across the nation.
