The Iowa Lottery has announced that someone who purchased a Powerball ticket in Nevada has won a $1 million prize. The ticket was sold at a Casey’s convenience story on B Avenue and matched the first five numbers, but missed the Powerball in Wednesday night’s $89.7 million drawing. This was the only ticket in the country sold that came this close to winning the jackpot. Saturday’s prize is now estimated at $106 million, which could result in a $63.7 million payout for one lucky winner who selects the cash option. Wednesday’s winning numbers were 16-18-27-55-67 and a Powerball of 18. The Nevada Casey’s will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Iowa Lottery for selling the ticket.
