King Rebukes Courts’ Decision Upholding Travel Ban Restraining Order And Re-introduces English Language Unity Act

Fourth Congressional District Congressman, Steve King, recently introduced a resolution rebuking the courts’ actions against President Trump’s executive order and re-introduced the English Language Unity Act. He says Judge James L. Robart “brazenly ignored the Constitution, Federal law and court precedent(s)” when he issued the temporary restraining order against the travel ban. He went on to say that the courts’ failure to reverse Robart’s order puts American’s at risk. “As terrorism propagates around the world,” King said, “President Trump understands attacks in other countries are not isolated incidents and he acted fully within his constitutional means to protect the American People.” King also re-introduced the English Language Unity Act, saying that a common language is the most unifying force in the world. The act requires all official functions of the United States to be conducted in English. “Federal Law has long required immigrants to learn English before they can become naturalized American citizens. […],” he added. “Today, only Leftists oppose official English.”
