The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a single-vehicle rollover accident at approximately 5:42 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 144 near 150th Street south of Paton. Sixty-year-old Marcy Jeanne Burkhead of Urbandale was southbound on Highway 144 in a 2003 Buick Park Ave. when she became distracted and lost control of the vehicle. The car entered the west ditch, hit a farm field lane then rolled over onto its top. Burkhead was not injured, but her car was deemed a total loss.
