No Injuries In Highway 30 Accident Saturday

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at approximately 1:12 p.m. Saturday, July 9, on Highway 30. Eighty-five-year-old Marietta Josephine Ricke of Westside was westbound on 30 in a 2013 Ford Edge when she slowed for a vehicle in front of her that was turning into a private drive. Twenty-year-old James Tyrell Stucker of Audubon was also driving westbound on Highway 30 and did not see the Ricke vehicle in time to stop his 1989 Chevrolet S10, and he struck the rear of the Edge. There was an estimated $600 in damage to the Stucker vehicle and $2,000 to the Ricke vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident.
