The Iowa Center for the Book is now accepting applications for the 2016 Iowa Literacy Award, which recognizes an organization that has made an outstanding contribution to increasing literacy in Iowa. Nominations consist of a one-page cover letter, a statement of impact which explains the value of the organization’s work and one letter of support. Organizations may self-nominate or be nominated by others, and are due by Friday, Aug. 5. The winner will be announced in a special ceremony this October, and will be presented with an $800 check to support the work. For more information or to make a nomination, follow the link below.
