Crawford County K9 Assists With His 130th Arrest Over The Weekend

On Sunday, March 20, a traffic stop north of Denison on Highway 59 led to two drug arrests. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says K9 Bayou was deployed during the stop and alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A search uncovered marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Twenty-two-year-old Stormy Trucke of Mapleton was arrested and held on a $5,000 bond, charged with Possession of Meth—3rd or subsequent offense, Possession of Marijuana—3rd or subsequent offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested was 37-year-old Chad Gloede of Mapleton, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was held on a $300 bond. This marks the 130th arrest made with the assistance of K9 Bayou, who has been responsible for the seizure of 28 pounds of narcotics and nearly $25,000 in cash.
