Clinton To Campaign In Iowa Over Holiday Weekend

There won’t be a Labor Day break for Hillary Clinton as she will continue to campaign across the state over the weekend. Clinton wants to celebrate the contributions of working families and discuss her agenda to raise wages for middle class families during this trip. She says her focus will be on the need for an American economy where every day Iowans can get ahead and stay ahead. Clinton will attend events in Newton, Cedar Rapids, the Quad Cities and Burlington that will be open to the public. She will be in Newton at Uncle Nancy’s Coffee at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and then at the home of State Senator Liz Mathis in Cedar Rapids that evening at 5:30 p.m. On Monday, Clinton will attend the Quad City Federation of Labor’s Salute to Labor Chicken Fry in Hampton, Ill. at 1:30 p.m. and then travel to Burlington to attend the Des Moines-Henry County Labor Council Picnic at 4:00 p.m.
