Churdan Man Taken To Hospital After Single-Vehicle Accident

Churdan, Iowa — At approximately 2:01 p.m. yesterday afternoon (Thursday), two Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies and Churdan Rescue were dispatched to the report of a single-vehicle accident on Highway 4 just east of Churdan. They arrived to find that 67-year-old Paul Raymond Fay of Churdan was traveling westbound on Highway 4 when he lost control and his 2000 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van went into the south ditch near J Avenue. Fay was transported to Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson for evaluation. Only minor damage to Fay’s vehicle was reported.
