Flood warnings posted across Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - The National Weather Service has posted
flood warnings across portions of Iowa as meteorologists say a
combination of melting snow and forecast rain will combine to lead
to flooding.
Weather service meteorologist Jeff Johnson in Des Moines said
Tuesday that Iowans should keep an eye on river forecasts. Johnson
says the flooding possibilities will continue for the next several
days across the state.
As of now, Johnson says the peak is expected to come later this
week through next week.
Johnson says the flooding depends on how fast the snow melts and
how much rain falls on top of it.
