Carroll, IA -- Carroll Mayor Jim Pedelty will give his state of the city address to open Tuesday’s City Council meeting. Pedelty will potentially cover the city’s budget and the direction the city may head this year as the economy continues to slowly rebound and funding from the state could be reduced for some programs. Pedelty could also discuss projects in that are in the works. Two of those projects will be updated during the meeting. Mel Pins, of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Brownfield Division will discuss the environmental assessment and the first two phases of the proposed library site. A member of J.E.O and Associates along with a representative of Midwest Tennis and Track will discuss the proposed six tennis courts in Graham Park. The meeting is Tuesday night and begins at 5:15.
