Coon Rapids, IA -- Coon Rapids Residents Trish and Dean Jackson will be opening up there living room to Singer/Songwriter Chad Elliot as part of the Raccoon River House Concert Series. Chad Elliot is upcoming country artist who recently won the 2009 Woody Guthrie Festival Songwriting Contest for his song “Same, Old Way,” which appears on his eighth album, "Redemption Man" .
Trish and Dean Jackson, the hosts of this event is inviting the general public to attend. The Chad Elliot Concert will be January 9th starting at 7pm. There is no cost to attend but hosts Trish and Dean Jackson suggest a donation of $10.00 to $15.00. The Jacksons also recommend you bring your own beverage and snacks for the concert. Raccoon River House Concerts is a concert series featuring singer/songwriters from across the nation playing in homes around the Coon Rapids Area. Previous performers include: Mother Banjo, Rod Picott and Amanda Shires, and K.C. Clifford whose music has been featured on NBC's 'The Biggest Loser'.
