Odebolt, Iowa -- The Sac County Sheriff’s Office charged 9 people this week after a deputy responded to a parking complaint in Odebolt. Deputies were called to 105 Sac Avenue Sunday morning around 3:00 because someone had parked a car in the yard at that residence. Upon arrival deputies found a large gathering of people at 212 Odebolt Street around the corner. As a deputy approached the residence 3 people ran from a car parked behind the residence. The deputy gave chase and captured 19-year-old Vanessa Souvandy of Storm Lake. The other two went into the residence at 212 Odebolt Street. Eight people were found in the house and deputies determined they were at an underage party. Esperansa Arellano and Jessica Quang Van both 18 of Denison, Jordan Shoesmith-20 years old of Carroll along with 19-year-old Tate Shattuck of Denison, 18-year-old Andrew Overton of Denison, 20-year-old Daniel Brosamle of Holstein and 20-year old Tyson Thoreson of Sioux City were charged with minor in possession. Souvandy was also charged with possession of alcohol and possession of marijuana and was booked into Sac County jail. 22-year-old Christian Bondinello of Schaller was order to stop his car as he pulled away from the residence. He was later located at his residence and arrested for interference with official acts and was booked in county jail.
