Mass of the Christian Burial for 88 year old Fred Blum of Manilla will be Wednesday at 10:30am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manilla with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery near Manilla. Friends may call at the church after 4pm Tuesday where there will be a Prayer Service at 7 Tuesday evening. Visitation will resume at the church after 9:30 Wednesday morning until time of Mass. The arrangements are under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home in Manilla. Fred Blum is survived by his wife: Marlene of Manilla……7 children: Tim of Council Bluffs, Dave of Denison, Joan Blum of Council Bluffs, Andy of Marne, Jean Fletcher of Denison, Al of Denison and Heather Olson of Odebolt….18 grandchildren…..11 great grandchildren…..3 brothers: Richard of Manilla, Ed of Harlan, and Paul of Nebraska…..and a sister: Esther Wageman of Nebraska.
