Stewart Memorial Welcomes First Baby Of 2018

The first baby of the year at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City made its arrival on Monday, Jan. 8. Madilyn Joan Lenahan was born to Tabitha McCrea and Daniel Lenahan of Sac City at 11:50 p.m., weighing in at six pounds nine ounces and measuring 19 inches long. Dr. Susan Hornback performed the delivery. To celebrate Madilyn’s birth as the first baby of the year, a gift basket was presented to the family. It included diapers and healthcare items along with keepsakes, like a My First Tooth box and booties, towels, blankets and clothing as well as some books and toys. Madilyn will be welcomed home by three siblings: Ariel, 11; Reilly, six; and Cooper, two. Her grandparents are Allison Dammers-Lynch, Todd Vauble, Laura Vauble and great grandparents, Bev and Kenny Vauble.
