Second Annual SARH Girls Night Out Opens Dialog On Women’s Health

Women sometimes need a little guidance in balancing all of the different aspects of their lives and health, and St. Anthony Regional Hospital is ready to lend a helping hand at their second-annual Girls Night Out. The March 21 “To Your Health” community education event at the Carrollton Centre will feature a social hour, vendor booths and a special program. “Women play a key role in the vitality of their families and communities, says Suzy Feigofsky, with the Iowa Heart Center at St. Anthony. “By setting aside time to talk specifically about women’s health issues, it is our goal to let the women of west central Iowa know that we, as health care providers, are here to listen and help.” This event is geared toward women of all ages and includes a candid conversation about a variety of topics, including: balancing schedules, energy levels, body image and personal health. Attendees will be given time to ask questions, or they can be submitted in advance anonymously to education@stanthonyhospital.org. St. Anthony team members will be on hand to lead the discussion and question and answer session. Feigofsky will be joined by Dr. Tina Flores Schechinger of the St. Anthony Clinic and Dr. Michelle Heim with the McFarland Clinic. Social hour and vendor sales start at 5 p.m. with the program from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. To register for the free event, call St. Anthony at 794-5243.
