The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary in process Monday afternoon, apprehending the suspect in the act. At approximately 3:14 p.m., a deputy responded to the Casey’s convenience store in Scranton and arrested 55-year-old Johnnie Jackson of Scranton. Jackson was transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center and charged with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief, interference with official acts and fourth-degree theft.
