The Birth Place at St. Anthony Regional Hospital (SARH) and Dr. Donald Dickman announce the first baby of 2018. On Tuesday, Jan. 2, Easton Vonnahme was born at 11:36 p.m. to Kami and Jeff Vonnahme of Carroll. Easton weighed nine pounds five ounces and was 21.5 inches long. The Birth Place presented the Vonnahme family with a gift basket that included a $50 gift card, a blanket, a stuffed animal, digital forehead thermometer, tummy time aid and a variety of children’s books. Director of The Birth Place, Pat Hogan, says they are thrilled to have delivered the first baby of the year. “This is a great event and celebration every year,” she says. “We always try our best to make it a special and meaningful memory for the family.” Easton will be welcomed home by three big brothers: Carson, six; Brody, four; and Dalton, 19 months.
