The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has announced that after months of work, they have launched a new Iowa Public Health Tracking portal at a new URL address. The new and improved portal makes it easier for users to access high-quality data in less time to help them understand the hazards of and what actions can be taken to prevent chronic illnesses. The portal utilizes Tableau, a software product that creates interactive data visualizations. There is an About the Data tab in each topic area to provide general information and a new dataset on the sexually transmitted diseases of chlamydia and gonorrhea have been added as well as videos and a News and Updates page.
