The Carroll Daisy Girl Scout Troop #01075 recently dedicated their time and talents to a community project for the benefit of children who are patients at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. They started at the beginning of May tying fleece blankets, and under the direction of Troop Leader, Jodi Boell, and Assistant Troop Leader, April Tigges, were able to buy the materials and assemble the blankets to complete the project and make the donation earlier this month. These are kindergarten through first-grade students who are learning that being a Daisy Scout means making a difference in their communities through a Leadership Journey. They chose to help children, like themselves, who may need some of the comfort a blanket can provide.
