U.S. Cellular has announced a project that has been in the works for over a year has been given final approval by the city of Lohrville. According to Randy Mattson, a project manager for the central region with U.S. Cellular, the expansion of coverage and services will span an approximately seven- to nine-mile radius of the small community.
Mattson says this tower will be located on the eastern edge of Lohrville, at 1206 Third Street, near the NEW Cooperative site.
Construction is scheduled to begin in August and Mattson says this is just another part of their ongoing commitment to their customers.
Again, that new tower will provide 4G, LTE and VOLTE coverage in and around Lohrville.
