On Friday, Jan. 13, Iowa’s 4th District Congressman, Steve King, voted yes to pass the 2017 budget resolution that begins the process of repealing Obamacare. King said after the vote that, “From the botched implementation, to President Obama unilaterally ignoring the law, to the delay of mandates and the Supreme Court’s rewrite of the bill’s language without Congressional oversight, Obamacare has been a complete failure since day one.” King went on to say he knew this would be the outcome when it passed into law on March 24, 2010. He wrote the first full 100 percent repeal of Obamacare and has since consistently reintroduced the same repeal bill, but Democrats have continued to try to bailout their “sinking ship,” he said.
