A Carroll resident’s Facebook post went viral when several teens were captured on a security camera removing Christmas decorations from his home late last week. This, however, was not an isolated incident and the Carroll Police Department has now released information about charges that have been filed in this ongoing investigation. Two juvenile males have been charged with the theft of Christmas lights on Nov. 24, and four juvenile males are charged with the same types of theft on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2. The juveniles range in age from 12 to 14 year old, and all have been released to their parents or guardians. Their cases will be transferred to the juvenile courts. Some of the property was recovered and a portion of that has already been returned to the rightful owners. Others who have suffered a loss will be notified if their property was among that recovered.
