As Senator Chuck Grassley continues his annual 99-County Iowa tour with six stops in Iowa in the next couple of weeks, he will close out August with a stop in Harlan. He will be stopping at the Harlan Community Library from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. for the Shelby County town hall meeting. These stops will be in addition to question-and-answer sessions Grassley will be holding with local businesses, high schools and service clubs in two dozen counties. Grassley is now in his 37th year of holding these town hall meetings across the state, and has held at least one meeting in every county every year since he was first elected to serve in the U.S. Senate. Questions from the attendees will be taken during the one-hour session.
