Comedic and Western themes are butting heads during South Central Calhoun’s (SCC) spring production this weekend. Twenty-five students helped create the show “Trouble in Tumbleweed” which follows a pompous mayor attempting to create a town in Arizona by hiring only his hopeless relatives. The family falls into a panic when a detective from Boston comes to check on their progress. The show lasts for about an hour and a half and will runs on Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium in Lake City. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Holders of a SCC Activity Pass can show their pass to be admitted free of charge. Concessions will be available during the play to raise funds for SCC Academic Decathlon team.
