Four minors and a Sac City man have been charged after law enforcement discovered a group of teenagers with alcohol Friday evening. At approximately 7 p.m., the Sac City Police Department responded to 1315 Circle Dr. on reports of a gathering of underage drinkers. Upon arrival, an officer determined a 14-year-old female, 15-year-old female, two 16-year-old males and 19-year-old Trevor Groth were consuming alcohol at the residence. The minors were charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age, a simple misdemeanor, and their cases were forwarded to the Sac County Juvenile Court Services. Groth has been charged with supplying alcohol to a person under 21 by a person 18, 19, or 20, also a simple misdemeanor. Groth was ordered to appear at the Sac County courthouse on the charge. The Sac County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
