Breda-based company transportation company, MoveIt, is inviting people to an informative open house tomorrow (Thursday) to tour their newly active solar panel field. MoveIt completed the installation of 700 panels in September and is aiming to generate all of their energy consumption from solar sources. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., food and displays will be available at the Breda Golf Course Clubhouse. Engineers from Current R/E, the firm which installed the panels, and Caterpillar, the company which manufactured them, will be on hand to answer questions from attendees. Tours of the solar panel field will be available every half hour. MoveIt encourages anybody interested in renewable energy sources to attend the event.
