Landus Hosting First Women In Agriculture Workshop In January

Landus Cooperative is hosting a two-day event for the females in agriculture titled “Ventures: Connections and Conversations in Ag.” The Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 workshops will offer actionable insights, on-farm tools and opportunities to network with other customer members and industry experts, all while getting better acquainted with the business resources available to them. Non-members and industry partners are also invited to attend. There will be a variety of breakout sessions throughout the two days on topics including beginner and advanced grain marketing, succession planning and how to better utilize precision agronomy data. A panel of women who have taken the lead in farming operations will also discuss “What I Wish I Had Known” during the general session. “Ventures isn’t just about inspiring women to take a more active role in their operations, it’s also about arming them with the business tools and cooperative resources to make it happen,” says Janette Smith, Ventures co-chair and the company’s senior grain marketing advisor with more than 25 years of experience. Registration for the inaugural women in ag event can be done online, with an early bird discount available until Friday, Dec. 15. A link for registration and details on how to get more information can be found below.
