A grain truck tipped over early Tuesday evening while negotiating a turn northeast of Churdan. No injuries were reported in the accident that occurred at approximately 5:59 p.m. at the intersection of N Ave. and 110th Street. A 1993 International grain truck, driven by Mike Minnehan of Churdan, was southbound on N Avenue and failed to slow enough to turn west onto 110th Street, causing the vehicle to tip over on its side. There was an estimated $10,000 in damage to the truck and Minnehan was cited for failure to maintain control. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
