The fourth annual Tri-City BBQ Fest was held this past weekend in Denison, and a number of local teams had a great showing in the competitions, according to Crawford County Chamber and Development Tourism Coordinator, Blair Weigum.
The event is a fundraising effort for the Chamber, and Weigum says the entertainers, competitors and sponsors ensured this year’s festival was a great time for attendees and a huge success all around.
Weigum says they are pleased to see growth over the past four years.
The 2017 Tri-City BBQ Festival featured 12 free shows as well as a no-cover after party, the Hog Wild Car Show, a kid’s zone and a Disability Awareness Walk, hosted by WESCO of Denison.
