The IowaWORKS Expansion Office in Denison will be moving to a new location Dec. 4. The center can currently be found at 519 Highway 39, and services will continue to be provided there until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 when it moves to the Western Iowa Tech Community College campus. The office will only remained closed for a few days until opening the following Monday at 8 a.m. The new office will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Monday and Thursday after it opens. “Thanks to Western Iowa Tech Community College for providing office space so that we can continue to offer career training and support services to Denison residents,” says Beth Townsend, director of Iowa Workforce Development. IowaWORKS aims to provide job seeker services to Iowans such as employment searchers, resume and cover letter assistance, mock interviews and workforce training.
