The Community Foundation of Carroll County has now opened this year’s charitable grants for applications. Those wishing to apply must be a 501(c)(3) organization, government unit, church or similarly exempt charitable organization. The deadline to apply is Nov. 30, and more information, instructions for applying and applications can be found by following the link included below. The Community Foundation of Carroll will consider several factors when reviewing grant applications. This includes: whether or not the money will be used in Carroll County; if it addresses a community need that has been previously prioritized; the number of people served; if there will be matching funds; and if there is strong community support for the project or initiative.
