Carroll Police And School Officials Act Quickly On Menacing Video Ensuring Safety At Schools Today

Carroll Chief of Police, Brad Burke, says that a Carroll High School student who made a threatening video that was posted on social media Tuesday night has been taken into custody.

He says they will continue to work to make sure that the students and parents feel safe and secure at the school building.

At approximately 8 p.m., a video was posted online in which a student from the high school says he was making a “final statement before something happens tomorrow.” After being up for only two hours, the video had already garnered just shy of 3,000 views, with many of those viewers forwarding it on to the Carroll Police Department. That video has now been removed from social media. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
