Audubon Soup Supper To Raise Funds For Local Crime Stoppers On Saturday

The Audubon County Crime Stoppers are holding their annual fundraiser this weekend with a variety of soup dinners available for purchase. Sheriff Todd Johnson says all the money raised goes to help keep crime rates down.

The dinner includes chili, oyster and vegetable beef soups with sandwiches, bars and drinks also be included in the price. Johnson, who has been sheriff for over 15 years, says law enforcement has helps out with this event every year.

He encourages everybody to stops by to enjoy a meal and help support the Audubon Crime Stoppers. The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Memorial Building. Admission for adults is eight dollars, children 12 and under is four dollars and preschoolers eat for free.
