Area Students Given Chance To Explore Career Options

The Carroll Chamber of Commerce Career Pathway Panels are set to take place tomorrow (Tuesday), from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Kuemper Catholic and the Carroll Middle School. Chamber Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, explains how the annual program works.

Those students who then wish to learn even more, will often-times get hands-on experience in those career fields through internships in high school. Landauer said what these students learn about career paths and their ability to bring those talents to positions in their hometown is not only of tremendous benefit to the students, but to our area as well.

There are six different occupational areas of focus from which students can select two to attend on Tuesday. These include fields such as agriscience and natural resources, family and human services, arts and communications, business management, information management, marketing, engineering and health sciences.
