Ar-We-Va’s Spring Play Puts Comedic Spin On Snow White Fairy Tale

Students at Ar-We-Va are nearly ready to present their rendition of some of the most classic fairy tale stories and are using a comedic style to make it an entertaining show for all. The play is titled “The Snow White Variety Show” and one of the dwarfs, Colton Lilleholm, says the story is told through an interview with Snow White.

The show consists of just 25 students, and with such a small crew, many participants need to serve in more than one role. One actor, Matthew Aschinger, says this creates a challenge to have everything run smoothly.

Olivia Mumm plays the show’s host, Heidi Perbole, and says the show has turned out great after several months of rehearsals.

The hour-and-a-half long show begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 in the Ar-We-Va gymnasium. Tickets can be purchased at the door, and admission is five dollars for adults, three dollars for students and preschool and younger enter for free.
