On Wednesday at approximately 2:30 pm, the Greene County Sherriff’s deputy, Churdan Fire and Rescue, Jefferson Fire Department and Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched for a rollover truck accident at the intersection of 180th Street and I Avenue. A 1999 Mack flatbed straight truck owned by Landus Cooperative and being driven by Timothy Dale Cafferty 54, of Rockwell City, was southbound on I Avenue and attempting to turn onto 180th Street, when the truck rolled onto its side in the south ditch. The flatbed truck was hauling 2000 gallons of water for spraying purposes. Timothy Cafferty was transported to the Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room by Greene County EMS for further evaluation.
