Skeeter Creek Fabricators in Jefferson will be hosting a very special artistic guest, Nancita Wernett of the Earth Studios in Guthrie Center for a presentation of her artwork on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. This free event is open to the public and everyone will get the unique opportunity to hear how Wernett gets the ideas and inspiration for her sculptures and paintings. Many of Wernett’s pieces are for sale at Skeeter Creek Fabricators. And if you can’t make it to the artistic morning, you can always catch a little taste of the Skeeter Creek artwork now on Google Maps. On June 6, 2015, the business installed a large art piece on the rooftop of their building at 104 East State Street in Jefferson and that piece is now visible on Google Maps.
